Virtual boy group BEGRITZ is expanding its differentiation as an artist-type virtual IP following the pre-release of their self-composed song.
According to entertainment tech company DNABLE, BEGRITZ will be introduced for the first time at ‘Indonesia Comic Con (ICC 2026)’, held in Jakarta, Indonesia, on October 3-4.
BEGRITZ is a 5-member virtual group consisting of Moonchan, Doha, Taebum, Rubin, and Sin-ui. Based on the original worldview of ‘goblins traveling through time and space,’ they connect music, worldview, real-time live streaming, and fan experience into a single IP.
DNABLE will participate in the official conference program on the afternoon of the 4th to present under the theme ‘DNABLE: Future Multimedia Contents through Virtual Idol.’ They will share insights on changes in the global virtual idol market, new entertainment formulas created by the combination of K-pop and virtual technology, the expansion potential of fandom and IP business, and the future of the virtual content industry. A performance video of BEGRITZ, planned, produced, and operated by DNABLE, will also be unveiled for the first time on the local stage.
This participation in ‘ICC 2026’ is expected to be the first step for BEGRITZ to move beyond domestic activities and build active contact points with Asian fans. In particular, since Indonesia is a market where K-pop, Korean pop culture, and digital content are actively consumed, DNABLE plans to use this event as a bridgehead for BEGRITZ’s expansion into the Southeast Asian and broader Asian markets.
DNABLE stated, “This stage will be a meaningful starting point for BEGRITZ to meet Asian fans and simultaneously introduce Korea’s virtual entertainment production capabilities to global content industry officials.”
