Cortis Dominates Melon Chart for 5 Months
Group Cortis has proven themselves as top-tier digital music powerhouses this year by maintaining their position in the Melon monthly chart ‘Top 3’ for five consecutive months.
The mini 2nd album title track Cortis REDRED ranked 3rd on the Melon September comprehensive monthly chart released on the 1st. After entering at 3rd place in May, it climbed to 2nd in June, and held 3rd place from July through August, showing an extraordinary feat of staying in the upper ranks for five straight months.
Matching BTS’s Historic Record
This achievement is particularly significant as it marks the only time in the past 10 years that a K-pop boy group has maintained a Melon monthly ‘Top 3’ position for five months or more, following BTS’s hit song ‘Dynamite’ (2020–2021).
The song’s long-running global chart success is also heating up. ‘REDRED’ ranked 198th on the latest US Billboard ‘Global 200’ chart (dated October 3) and 100th on the ‘Global (excluding US)’ chart, successfully charting for 22 consecutive weeks.

‘REDRED’ drew attention for its honest and original lyrics comparing what the five members guard against to ‘RED’ and what they aim for to ‘GREEN’. Cortis expressed everyday thoughts with fresh sounds and addictive performances, strongly engraving their color as a ‘young creator crew’ that directly produces music, choreography, and visuals.
Having shaken domestic and international charts, Cortis will continue their momentum on a massive global stage. Cortis has been exclusively invited as the only K-pop artist this year to the ‘Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix 2026’ held on October 9 (local time). They are set to take the main stage at the Marina Bay Street Circuit to deliver an overwhelming power live performance.
