[OSEN=Kim Nayeon] CRAVITY, who made a comeback with their new song ‘LOUDER’, is set to showcase an intense performance that fills an abandoned building.
Scheduled to be released at 6 p.m. on the 2nd through the 1theK channel, the original content ‘On the Spot’ will feature CRAVITY’s performance video for the title track ‘LOUDER’ from their 9th mini album.
Released on this day, ‘On the Spot’ unfolds against the backdrop of an empty abandoned building, connecting with ‘resonance’, the core keyword of CRAVITY’s 9th mini album ‘sonorous’. Released on the 30th, ‘sonorous’ tells the story of different waves colliding and overlapping to create a greater echo. In particular, the title track ‘LOUDER’ is a song that stands out with the members’ delicate vocals, dramatic progression, and addictive chorus, with five members including Wonjin, Allen, Serim, Hyeongjun, and Taeyoung participating directly in the lyric writing to add CRAVITY’s unique musical color.
1theK’s original ‘On the Spot’ is content that captures artists’ performances in everyday spaces, moving away from standardized stages like studios or sets. It is characterized by actively utilizing the atmosphere and characteristics of the space to vividly capture the artists’ movements, expressions, and performances with natural videography and camera work instead of fancy sets or special effects.
Accordingly, CRAVITY is set to present their signature knife-like choreography against the backdrop of a weathered, rough-textured abandoned building, offering fans a unique charm. Amidst the spatial feel of the shabby abandoned building, the intense sound of ‘LOUDER’ and the members’ sophisticated choreography are expected to shine even brighter and expand their energy. In addition, the scenes moving between the deeply cast moonlight and long shadows will bring out the rough texture of the abandoned building while further highlighting the all-white styling of the members.
Regarding this, 1theK PD Noeul, who directed ‘On the Spot’, shared, “We directed it so that the intense energy of ‘LOUDER’ and CRAVITY’s performance naturally blend with the rough atmosphere of the space,” adding, “We focused on utilizing natural light, shadows, and the wide-open space to capture the movements and teamwork of the nine members as vividly as possible.”>
