TOP and Nana Confirm Relationship

Former BigBang member and actor TOP (Choi Seung-hyun, 38) and former After School member and actress Nana (Im Jin-ah, 35) have officially confirmed that they are dating.

According to the entertainment industry on the 2nd, both TOP and Nana’s agencies stated that the two are currently in a relationship following recent dating rumors.

How They Met on Set

TOP’s agency, Topspot Pictures, stated, ‘They first met and formed a connection through a music video shoot, grew closer, and developed into a romantic relationship around June.’ Nana’s agency, Sublime, also confirmed the relationship, stating, ‘They met through a music video shoot and are currently continuing a good relationship.’

Previously, the entertainment media outlet Dispatch reported that TOP and Nana first met through a music video shoot in January and developed into a romantic relationship around June. The two formed their connection during the music video for ‘Totally Crazy!’, the title track of TOP’s solo full-length album ‘Multi-Perspective’. Nana appeared as the female lead in the music video at TOP’s suggestion.

Recent Activities and Public Appearances

In April, Nana also appeared on TOP’s YouTube content. When Nana asked why she was cast as the music video lead, TOP explained that he had envisioned a mysterious, timeless feminine image while creating the song, adding, ‘When I saw her, she fit the best.’

Dispatch also released photos of the two spending time together near Nana’s home recently. It is reported that the two have continued to meet despite their busy schedules.

Both TOP and Nana share the commonality of debuting in the music industry as members of BigBang and After School, respectively, and later transitioning into acting.

TOP debuted with BigBang in 2006, later left the group, and resumed his acting career through the Netflix series ‘Squid Game’ Season 2. In April, he also released his first solo full-length album ‘Multi-Perspective’ and resumed music activities.

Nana debuted with After School in 2009 and transitioned to acting, appearing in dramas such as ‘The Good Wife’, ‘Kill It’, ‘Justice’, and the Netflix series ‘Mask Girl’. Most recently, she played the role of Hee-yeon in the Netflix series ‘Scandal’.
