Held on the morning of the 5th at Mondrian Seoul Itaewon, the press conference for Netflix’s new entertainment show ‘Devil’s Plan: Dead Again’ (hereafter ‘Devil’s Plan 3’) was attended by producers Jung Jong-yeon and Choi Yoon-hee, alongside cast members Jang Dong-min, Hong Jin-ho, Ha Seok-jin, Oh Hyun-min, Jung Hyun-gyu, Nucksal, Seo Chul-bu, Shin Dong, John Park, Jaejae, Stella Jang, Yurisa, Kim Dong-jae, Ido, Jung Won-young, and Hyun Kyung-ryeol.

‘Devil’s Plan: Dead Again’ is an entertainment show featuring legends who conquered brain survival games and rising powerhouse players, fighting for a single winner amid larger scales and unpredictable variables. Entering its third season, the show features a dream lineup of 16 players, ranging from past champions to top-tier survival predators and fresh contenders.

When asked why he continues to compete in survival shows despite already holding five consecutive championship titles, Jang Dong-min answered, “Well, the moment you stop challenging yourself, isn’t that when life ends? If there is a seat available, you have to take on the challenge, right? Besides, Hong Jin-ho keeps spreading false rumors, asking why I’m showing up when I’m already retired.”

Jang Dong-min added, “I have never retired. As long as I am alive, there is no retirement from survival shows. To anyone willing to throw down a challenge against me, I will accept it anytime.”

He also confessed, “I had a lot of concerns this time as well, but after talking extensively with PD Jung Jong-yeon, I decided to take on the challenge. Since such a grand feast has been prepared, I should go and have a thrilling time. I prepared with a joyful heart.”

Producer Jung Jong-yeon also praised Jang Dong-min, explaining the rationale behind his casting: “Casting Jang Dong-min was actually a bit… once he participates, all the spotlight naturally shifts to him, and he is an overwhelmingly powerful player.”

He continued, “Comparing it to the NBA, he is like Michael Jordan. He won six championships and retired. Yet, he remains the most anticipated cast member for viewers. Despite the immense pressure, Jang Dong-min delivers a dazzling style of play that only he can pull off.”

Meanwhile, Netflix’s new variety show ‘Devil’s Plan: Dead Again’ is set to premiere on November 10. ‘Devil’s Plan 3’ consists of 14 episodes and will be released over the course of three weeks.
