INFINITE member Nam Woo-hyun recently experienced a shocking near-miss accident during his solo concert due to an unexpected stage equipment failure.
Nam Woo-hyun held his solo 10th-anniversary concert ‘Arbor Day VI – EVER GREEN’ at the KBS Arena for three days from the 6th to the 8th, meeting with his fans.
However, during the second performance on the afternoon of the 7th, a sudden stage accident occurred, causing great shock. While singing between the main stage and the protruding stage, Nam Woo-hyun turned his steps toward the protruding stage, at which point the floor suddenly opened up.
The location was where a crane lift device was installed, and a temporary malfunction caused the closed lift cover to open and the floor to rise.
Focused on his song without noticing the open floor, Nam Woo-hyun stumbled over the suddenly opened lift cover, barely managed to step on the lift railing to regain his balance, and safely landed in a secure area.
Fans who witnessed the scene in person could not hide their shock. Because it was a lift device intended for artists to board and move, the area beneath the open cover was a completely empty space. Because the accident happened in front of everyone, the aftermath was even greater.
