The AJSOCAL Gala marked its 43rd milestone as the Asian Americans Advancing Justice Southern California held its annual commemorative event on the 22nd at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in downtown Los Angeles.
Over 600 prominent figures from the Asian American community gathered for the occasion, including Dani Tsuboi, the Chief Executive Officer of AJSOCAL. The event highlighted ongoing efforts to promote civil rights and community empowerment in the region.
During the gala, Yun Huh and Jihee Huh, representatives of the seafood distribution company PAFCO, were honored with the ‘Advancing Justice Award’ for their significant contributions to the community and dedication to promoting fairness and equality.
