Group BABYMONSTER has raised global fans’ anticipation by releasing the first music video still images for their new song ‘DESERVE’.
YG Entertainment posted ‘[DESERVE] M/V STILL CUT’ on its official blog. The members’ visuals, contrasting with the red typography against a dark background, were captured like a scene from a movie. Rora caught attention with a backstage smile amidst cheers from the staff and a silhouette dance with a dancer, while Chiquita stood alone in a crowded, dark hallway, leaving a lingering sense of melancholy with her lonely and calm expression.
With a musical transformation distinct from their previous work ‘SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA’, as well as the members’ new challenges in emotional acting, attention is focused on the storyline of the main music video. Previously, Executive Producer Yang Hyun-suk introduced the track, saying, ‘Although it is a slow song, it carries stronger energy than any song released so far.’ The delicate yet explosive vocals are expected to deliver ultimate emotion.
Meanwhile, BABYMONSTER’s new song ‘DESERVE’ will be officially released at 1 PM on the 23rd. Carrying out their fifth promotion of the year, they are ahead of releasing a new album early next year and are successfully carrying out their second world tour ‘2026-27 BABYMONSTER WORLD TOUR [CHOOM]’, spanning 31 shows across 18 cities in 5 continents.
