BTS Week in Los Angeles has been officially proclaimed by the city as North America prepares for a massive welcome for the legendary South Korean group. Los Angeles has designated September 1 through September 8 as ‘BTS Week,’ illuminating City Hall in the iconic red symbolic color of their 5th studio album, ‘ARIRANG.’
The official proclamation ceremony took place on August 31 at Los Angeles City Hall, featuring members of the City Council, the tourism board, and Big Hit Music representatives. Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass expressed deep admiration, stating that the proclamation reflects the belief that art and communities unite, while honoring the monumental cultural contributions of BTS.
SoFi Stadium Concerts and North American Tour Finale
The Los Angeles City Council also praised the global icons through a resolution, highlighting BTS as the most influential artists of the current generation and true pioneers for South Korean and Asian artists in the global music industry. The council recognized their global impact, noting their ‘LOVE MYSELF’ campaign, UN speeches, and the positive reach of sharing South Korean culture.
BTS is set to perform at the Los Angeles SoFi Stadium for ‘BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ IN LOS ANGELES’ on September 1, 2, 5, and 6 local time. Marking their return to SoFi Stadium after approximately four years and nine months since December 2021, all four concert dates have completely sold out, proving the unmatched global power of BTS as they bring their North American tour to a grand finale.
