Carrollton Korean Town Shooting Wife Arrested in Expanding Murder Investigation

Carrollton Korean Town Shooting investigators have arrested the wife of the main suspect, marking a major development in the deadly Texas case that shocked the local Korean American community.

The Carrollton Police Department announced on May 18 that 67-year-old Ae Son Han was arrested on a murder charge in connection with the recent shootings involving her husband, 69-year-old Seung Ho Han.

According to police, the couple was together during the incident, and investigators found evidence suggesting Ae Son Han assisted in the second killing. Authorities, however, did not disclose the specific role she allegedly played during the attack.

Police Investigating Possible Conspiracy

Police said investigators are continuing to examine whether the shootings were carried out as part of a coordinated plan involving both husband and wife.

The case has drawn significant attention in the Dallas-area Korean community, particularly because the shootings took place in Carrollton’s Koreatown district, a well-known hub for Korean-owned businesses and restaurants.

While authorities confirmed that Ae Son Han allegedly aided in the second homicide, officials declined to release further details about how the crime unfolded or what evidence led to her arrest.

Suspect Arrested in Minnesota

According to investigators, Ae Son Han fled after the shootings and was later captured in Minnesota on May 18.

Law enforcement agencies are currently working to extradite her back to Texas, where she is expected to face formal prosecution.

The Carrollton Korean Town Shooting case remains under active investigation as police continue gathering evidence and reviewing the relationship between the two suspects.
