Choi Kang-changmin of the group TVXQ recently brought laughter by mentioning his starkly different current reality compared to Super Junior’s Kim Hee-chul.
During his appearance as a special guest on the November 1 broadcast of SBS’s “My Little Old Boy,” Kim Hee-chul’s mother looked at Choi Kang-changmin and remarked, “Changmin is married and has a kindergarten-aged child, while our son…” causing everyone to laugh. In response, Choi Kang-changmin wittily joked, “Even in the same agency, life turns out so differently,” filling the set with laughter.
Choi Kang-changmin also shared a past anecdote from their days as trainees at SM Entertainment.
He recalled, “You introduced me earlier as Hee-chul’s junior, but actually, I am Hee-chul’s senior. I always used to greet my trainee seniors very politely,” sharing how he took care of his seniors as the youngest back then.
He continued, “While I was setting up the utensils, Hee-chul was walking around with his arms around other trainee hyungs,” recalling Kim Hee-chul’s behavior at the time.
Choi Kang-changmin honestly added, “I knew he was older than me, but I found it quite mischievous. We were supposed to be setting the spoons and chopsticks together. It made me realize that being smooth and witty is also a talent,” bringing extra laughter to the show.
