When preparing for the upcoming holidays, finding convenient meal options is essential, and Costco Thanksgiving dinner packages are making headlines this season. Costco has introduced a complete 8-person Thanksgiving meal set priced at $199.99, featuring everything from roasted turkey to various side dishes and desserts. This translates to approximately $25 per person, offering a hassle-free way to prepare a traditional holiday feast.
Costco announced that this Thanksgiving meal package, which has a regular price of $269.99, is currently available with a $70 discount as an online-exclusive offer. The comprehensive bundle consists of 12 distinct items weighing approximately 30 pounds in total. It includes 5 pounds of seasoned turkey breast alongside classic favorites such as mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, corn, green bean casserole, and cornbread stuffing.
In addition to the main course and savory sides, the package provides sweet potatoes, 12 dinner rolls, turkey gravy, and cranberry relish. For dessert, the set includes both an apple cobbler and a pumpkin pie to complete the holiday experience. The pre-seasoned turkey breast simply requires baking in the oven, while the majority of the side dishes can be quickly heated or lightly prepared.
Advance orders for the meal kit are open through the 13th, with shipping scheduled to take place sequentially between the 4th and the 20th. The items are delivered frozen via FedEx’s two-day shipping service. This online-exclusive promotion from Costco is subject to early termination once current inventory runs out.
Meanwhile, Walmart has also introduced a budget-friendly holiday option, offering a 26-item grocery package for a 10-person Thanksgiving meal priced at $35. According to company representatives, this amounts to roughly $3.50 per person, representing a 12% decrease in price for identical items compared to last year.
