Group ENHYPEN has been honored with the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Commendation.
ENHYPEN (Jungwon, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Niki) attended the ‘2026 Korean Popular Culture and Arts Awards’ held at the National Theater of Korea in Jung-gu, Seoul, on the 29th, where they received the government commendation.
Through their agency BELIFT LAB, ENHYPEN shared their thoughts, saying, “We are so thrilled and honored to receive this meaningful award. This is all thanks to ENGENE (our fandom) who enjoys our music and performances together, as well as everyone who shows love for popular culture and arts.” They added, “We will continue to work hard as a group that contributes to the development of South Korea’s popular culture through diverse music and activities.”
Now in its 17th year, the ‘Popular Culture and Arts Awards’ is a government-awarded honor given to artists and organizations that have contributed to the global expansion of K-content and the growth of the industry.
Since their debut in November 2020, ENHYPEN has experienced continuous growth, establishing themselves as a top-tier global group. Their 8th mini-album ‘THE SIN : BLISS’, released last August, topped the US Billboard main album chart, the ‘Billboard 200’. The album sold over 2.09 million copies in its first week alone, making the group a five-time ‘double million-seller’. They are also successfully carrying out their largest-ever world tour, ‘ENHYPEN WORLD TOUR ‘BLOOD SAGA”, spanning 37 shows across 22 cities worldwide.
Additionally, ENHYPEN performed at the major US music festival ‘Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival’ to connect with global fans. This past summer, they participated in ‘CAMPO MARTE’, a large-scale commemorative festival held in Mexico, a co-host of the ‘2026 FIFA World Cup North America’. At the world’s largest pop culture convention, ‘SAN DIEGO COMIC-CON 2026’, they drew attention as next-generation representatives of the vampire genre and participated in related discussions, expanding their presence beyond music into various cultural realms. ENHYPEN is set to release their spin-off single ‘THE SIN : PARALLEL WORLD’ next month.
