[OSEN=Reporter Oh Se-jin] EXO Sehun has heightened anticipation for his upcoming unit debut with a dramatic hair transformation.
On November 2, Sehun shared a photo on his personal social media account. Previously, he had been posting single photos without any captions, sparking enthusiastic reactions from fans. While he continues to share snippets of his daily life and photos through paid communication channels following his military discharge, his Instagram has maintained its signature cynical charm.
Recently, Sehun’s social media posts drew massive attention not only because of his updates following a brand event last summer, but primarily because they began with camera angles hinting at his new activities. Fans could not hide their excitement at seeing mirror selfies featuring his bleached hairstyleβa look not seen since EXO’s regular album ‘Tempo’ and the EXO-SC unit release ‘1Dillion Views’βalongside footage capturing his tall, 182cm silhouette and perfect frame.
Wearing rough, chunky rings on his slender fingers, he naturally pulled off the look while his characteristic delicate yet cold gaze paired cynically with the faded bleached hair. While his stunning visuals, effortlessly rocking a so-called ‘rebellious’ styling, remain identical to the ‘Wolf’ boy who once shouted ‘EXO,’ the added maturity of Sehun in his 30s made hearts flutter. Moreover, his outdoor photos revealed just days prior captured the essence of a noble prince.
Netizens reacted with enthusiastic comments such as, "Is Sehun’s bleached hair for real?", "Something huge is coming", "I firmly believe he’s going to debut with Run & Gun, and I’m sure SM will buy the copyrights even if they don’t exist", and "Everyone who said they were excited for Sehun in his 30s, please step forward."
Meanwhile, Sehun’s group EXO will hold ‘EXO PLANET #6 – EXhOrizon [dot]’ at the KSPO Dome for three days starting November 6. Additionally, Sehun is set to debut in December in a ’94-line’ unit (unit name TBA) alongside fellow group member Kai.
