Dancer and choreographer J-Black K-pop choreography critique recently drew attention as he pointed out the trend of idol dance routines becoming increasingly difficult. During the November 4 broadcast of the tvN variety show ‘You Quiz on the Block’ themed ‘The Real Deal Recognizes the Real Deal,’ J-Black appeared as a guest. Yoo Jae-suk mentioned during the show that he occasionally tries to follow idol dances to see what they are like, but at some point, it became too daunting to even attempt.

Yoo Jae-suk previously made headlines by participating in and performing for Exo’s song ‘Dancing King’ in a past broadcast. In response, J-Black sympathized, saying, ‘I wish they would stop raising the difficulty level so much. It’s too surprising.’

When Yoo Jae-suk asked if there are songs that even shock choreographers, J-Black replied, ‘The most recent choreography that surprised me was Ateez’s ‘Bad’. I thought, ‘Do they really go this far?’ and shared that it influenced him when he was setting the difficulty for NEON’s choreography.’
