Despite large-scale protests and unrest across France on the 17th, the French protests have caused no major disruptions to the European tour schedules of the LA Korean travel industry.

Helen Park, president of Azitour, stated, “The protests occurred in major cities like Paris, but they were centered around symbolic locations such as Place de la Rpublique and Place de la Bastille. To date, no direct damage to major tourist sites or disruptions to tour itineraries have been reported.” Azitour plans to proceed with scheduled tour itineraries normally, adjusting travel routes with safety as the top priority should sudden protests or traffic controls occur.

Shin Young-im, vice president of Samho Tour, explained, “Our European tours have concluded, and we are scheduled to resume tours in December, so the schedule does not overlap with these protests, resulting in no particular impact.” Dream Tour CEO Kim Sung-geun also stated that the European tour season for this year has already ended, leaving no impact from the protests.

Meanwhile, large-scale protests demanding improved educational conditions and measures against high inflation turned into violent incidents involving looting and arson in France on the 17th, leading to the arrest of about 2,400 people.
