Group BTS SWIM music video has been officially recognized for its exceptional visual artistry on the global stage.
BigHit Music announced on the 21st that the music video for BTS’ song ‘SWIM’ has been nominated in the ‘Best Music Video’ category at the world-renowned film festival ToruCAMERIMAGE. Out of 300 entries submitted worldwide, the video successfully made it to the final 18 nominees.
‘SWIM’ is the title track of BTS’ 5th full-length album ‘ARIRANG’, which was released in March as a complete group following the members’ completion of their military service duties.
The music video previously drew significant attention for featuring actress Lili Reinhart, boasting an overwhelming scale set against the expansive ocean of Lisbon, Portugal. Directed by world-class director Tanu Muino, the project was exquisitely completed through Reinhart’s delicate acting performance.
With this nomination, BTS finds themselves competing alongside renowned global artists such as Harry Styles with ‘American Girls’, Ariana Grande with ‘hate that i made you love me’, and Madonna with ‘CONFESSIONS II’.
ToruCAMERIMAGE is a world-class film festival established in 1993 that specializes in visual aesthetics and the art of cinematography. As the event takes place in Toruń, Poland, from November 7 to 14, anticipation is building to see if BTS will have their name called during the closing ceremony.
