The silver grass at Haneul Park in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, dancing in the autumn breeze, creates a magnificent spectacle.

The pure white, fluffy silver grass sways in golden hues during sunrise and sunset, and in silver during midday, showing off colorful shades that change moment by moment depending on the direction of the light.

Here is another look, embracing the autumn rain.

Looking closely at the inner flesh of the silver grass with raindrops clinging to it reminds one of the lyrics ‘jade beads on a spider’s web, hanging round and round’ from the national children’s song ‘Bead Rain’.

Haneul Park, along with the adjacent Noeul Park, is an ecological park created in 2002 on top of a garbage landfill (98m above sea level) with an area of 530,000 square meters.

Ahead of the Silver Grass Festival (October 17–23) held here, the footsteps of people continue to visit this year without fail.

The silver grass can be enjoyed until early winter, even after the festival comes to an end.
