Group IVE (An Yujin, Gaeul, Ray, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, Leeseo) is creating special memories with DIVE, their official fandom.
To coincide with the pre-release of the title track ‘Looks Can Kill’ from their new album on the 19th, IVE collaborated with Seoul’s iconic cultural space, the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP).
They prepared an immersive space where visitors can experience the mood of the new album up close, planning to connect with fans and a broader audience through music and content-driven promotions.
Utilizing the media façade of DDP, a special DDP version of the ‘POST CREDIT SCENE : GIRL HERO’ video was screened. Accompanied by a spectacular laser show and lighting effects, the entire DDP area was dyed in the concept of ‘Looks Can Kill’. Additionally, a photo zone where fans can meet the members transformed as heroes was set up.
This collaboration aims to expand the touchpoints for meeting the new album through spaces filled with IVE’s music and content, while delivering even more special memories to DIVE.
An official stated, “As this is taking place at DDP, which is freely accessible to anyone, we expect people to enjoy ‘Looks Can Kill’ together in their daily lives.”
In particular, representatives from the Seoul Metropolitan Government and Seoul Design Foundation stated, “This collaboration with Starship Entertainment is a meaningful attempt combining DDP’s media art content with K-pop to offer new sights and enjoyment to citizens and tourists,” adding, “We will continue to actively support joint promotions linking K-pop with Seoul’s major attractions to widely publicize the charm of K-pop artists and Seoul to the world.”
