Famous choreographer J-Black recently expressed his admiration for members Aijing and Siri of the rookie group A2O LITE.
On October 26, the YouTube channel ‘Gwanjong Unni’ uploaded a video titled ‘Why A2O’s Aijing is a genius, according to hot choreographer J-Black.’ In the video, J-Black and his wife Marie shared the behind-the-scenes process of creating the introductory couple choreography for A2O LITE’s debut track ‘NEON’.
Marie expressed her surprise at the unexpected and explosive popularity, sharing that they receive countless inquiries as the group gains momentum. When asked about his choreography creation process, J-Black explained that his first drafts usually take only 10 to 15 minutes as he visualizes concepts in his head and refines them.
J-Black revealed that he initially envisioned a dreamy and bizarre concept for ‘NEON’. He noted that while entertainment agencies usually ask to lower choreography difficulty, A2O actually requested a harder routine, pushing him to maximize the intensity.
He confessed that he worried about whether the choreography would work since he hadn’t met the members beforehand. However, J-Black praised them heavily, stating that Aijing and Siri accomplished the feat with less than 20 hours of actual training due to their busy pre-debut schedules.
Meanwhile, rookie girl group A2O LITE, produced by industry veteran Lee Soo-man’s A2O Entertainment, has been making a strong impression on the music scene by topping music charts right upon debut.
