Singer-songwriter Lee Mujin has teamed up with actor Lee Donghwi for an unexpected and special collaboration.
On the 6th at 6 PM, Lee Mujin released the music video teaser for his new digital single ‘Night Stage’ through his official SNS channels, boosting anticipation for his comeback.
The released teaser begins with Lee Donghwi wandering alone through a dark night street. Encountering a spark flying up from the ground, Lee Donghwi instantly bursts into childish playfulness, radiating a free-spirited energy. He then gazes quietly at the burning flame, falling into deep thought and showing a wide emotional spectrum within the short runtime.
In particular, the intense flame lighting up the night combines with Lee Donghwi’s signature delicate facial expressions to create a cinematic mood reminiscent of a movie. The psychological changes of a character facing an unexpected moment on an ordinary night street raise curiosity about how it will tie into the new song ‘Night Stage’.
In previously released concept photos, Lee Mujin sported a brown shirt against backdrops of streetlights, tunnels, and dark night roads, showcasing a free and witty charm. Capturing the familiar scenery of night through a sensitive lens, the visuals stimulate an analog sentiment reminiscent of a crescent moon, fitting the song’s title ‘Night Stage’.
Self-composed ‘Night Stage’, which Lee Mujin is releasing 1.4 years later, is a song that captures the freedom and liberation felt on an ordinary commute home after a day’s work, painted with his uniquely peerless tone and sense of rhythm. The positive energy characteristic of Lee Mujin, which transforms even a familiar and tranquil night road into his own glamorous stage, is expected to deliver deep comfort and immersion to listeners.
Meanwhile, the sound source and music video for Lee Mujin’s new digital single ‘Night Stage’ will be officially released on various online music sites at 6 PM on the 9th.
Following the new release, he will kick off his 2026 national tour concert ‘Winter Greeting : From Winter’ starting at Goyang Aram Nuri Aram Theater on November 28 and 29, followed by Daegu Kyungpook National University Auditorium on December 19 and 20, and Busan Citizens’ Hall Grand Theater on December 25 and 26, spending the end of the year with fans nationwide.
