Park Mak-rye, who uploads videos on YouTube under user name โKorea Grandma,โ is the single most popular senior YouTube star. The 71 years old makes videos of a wide variety of topics, ranging from make-up tutorials to travel vlogs.
Uploaded her first video in January this year, Parkโs YouTube account reached 300 thousand only in 7 months. The most popular video, which is the first make-up tutorial of hers, is about to reach 2 million views.
In the unboxing video, Park says how she is deeply moved by the recognition from YouTube. She doesnโt forget to thank her fans who made it happen.
Park also leaves a message to Susan Wojcicki, the current CEO of YouTube, humorously asking her to leave a comment.
