Actor Yook Sungjae expressed his admiration for Park Min Young, praising her as a master of kissing and a true ‘kissist’ on a recent broadcast.
During the November 5 episode of the SBS variety show ‘Master Hang-jun’, actors Yook Sungjae and Park Min Young made guest appearances. The two stars, who are set to star in the upcoming office romance drama ‘Nine to Six’ simultaneously releasing on Netflix and Amazon, shared insights into their on-screen chemistry.
Park Min Young has firmly established herself as a goddess of romance and a queen of romantic comedies. There is even a popular saying that no male actor hasn’t seen his popularity soar after working with her. Yook Sungjae did not dispute this reputation; instead, he offered high praise. When Hang-jun coined the neologism ‘kiss master’ or ‘kisser’ for Park Min Young’s trademark kissing scenes, Yook Sungjae countered with the even bolder term ‘kissist’, catching Park Min Young by surprise.
Yook Sungjae shared his honest thoughts, saying, “Park Min Young is truly a romantic comedy queen and a kissist. I haven’t done many kissing scenes myself, so while I’m the one initiating the kiss, it feels like I’m the one getting drawn in. I just approach her, but I end up looking so great on screen. It makes me wonder if the kissist Park Min Young has already mapped everything out.” In response, Park Min Young warmly replied, “I didn’t map anything out. Yook Sungjae has such unique and one-of-a-kind lips, how could I possibly map that out?” Her romantic consideration for her junior and co-star deeply touched Hang-jun.
