Broadcaster Choi Hwa-jung recently shared details about the Italian family life of actor Song Joong-ki and his wife, Katy Louise Saunders.
On October 15, Choi Hwa-jung released a new video on her YouTube channel titled ‘Management God Choi Hwa-jung! First Public Reveal of 5 Greek Yogurt Dishes Eaten Every Morning.’ During the episode, while introducing a Turkish eggs recipe, she brought up a special gift she received from Song Joong-ki.
While preparing a Greek yogurt-based sauce, Choi Hwa-jung added olive oil and boasted, “This is a gift from Song Joong-ki. He said it’s the very first olive oil he and his wife harvested themselves in Italy. The two of them harvested it together. It’s so precious.”
Choi Hwa-jung also highlighted Song Joong-ki’s two children. The packaging wrapped around the olive oil bottle featured an illustration of two children climbing a ladder, which depicted Song Joong-ki’s son and daughter.
Pointing to the drawing, Choi Hwa-jung expressed her admiration, saying, “And these kids here are supposed to be their babies. Because this is so precious, I only eat it when I have an empty stomach. I’m going to use it specially today. The aroma is completely different.”
Song Joong-ki announced his marriage and his wife’s pregnancy simultaneously in 2023 with British actress Katy Louise Saunders. After welcoming their first son, they welcomed their second daughter in Rome, Italy, in November 2024.
At the time, Song Joong-ki directly shared the news with his fan cafe, writing, “I am currently in Rome, and it has barely been a year since I met my first child here, but I am so, so grateful to have met another pretty baby. A lovely princess was born very healthy.”
As parents of two young children close in age, Song Joong-ki and his family have frequently captured public attention. Previously, he was spotted pushing a stroller with his wife on the street, and during interviews for the release of his film ‘Bogota’, he proudly showed photos of his daughter to reporters, showcasing his affectionate side as a doting father.
