[OSEN=Kang Seo-jung] The seven choreographers of Mnet’s ‘Street World Fighter : Director’s War’ met directly with fans to spend a special time together.

The special event ‘MEET & MOVE’ for Mnet’s ‘Street World Fighter : Director’s War’ (hereinafter ‘SWF’) was held on the 1st in Seongsu-dong, Seoul. Set up as a place where fans could get close to the hot-topic choreographersβ€”ranging from live performances to behind-the-scenes talk not previously revealed on broadcastβ€”selected fans who applied in advance attended, heating up the venue.

On this day, all seven choreographers representing ‘SWF’β€”Nine, Bada, Baek Gu-young, Babyzoo, Simeez, Jung Min-jun, and Casperβ€”gathered in full force. As soon as they appeared, the choreographers instantly raised the atmosphere by directly performing the new signature choreography introduced in the ‘1:1 Signature 400’ mission. Faced with the overwhelming performances unfolding right before their eyes, fans poured out enthusiastic cheers and gasps, realizing their high level of interest in ‘SWF’.

Next, team-by-team talks were held with those who participated in the ‘Solo Artist Direct Mission’. β–² Nine and Babyzoo, β–² Jung Min-jun and Casper, β–² Bada and Baek Gu-young, and β–² Simeez took the stage in turn to directly share various episodes and working processes experienced while preparing for the mission. Each team not only performed the ‘Solo Artist Direct Mission’ performances live on site, but also added fun to the talk by revealing broadcast behind-the-scenes stories with NCT 127’s Taeyong and ALLDAY PROJECT’s Bailey.

First, Nine and Babyzoo, who prepared the stage for Taeyong’s new song ‘Wacka Wak’, explained the parts they focused on during the working process. Nine stated, “Thinking that I wanted the solo artist to shine, I tried to include moves and vibes that Taeyong could do best,” while Babyzoo boasted about their chemistry, saying, “Because I was with Nine, a cooler and more satisfactory work seemed to have come out.”

The behind-the-scenes story of Bada and Baek Gu-young, who drew attention with the ‘Ttakbam Dance’ chosen by Taeyong, was also revealed. The two looked back at the enthusiastic response at the time, saying, “As soon as the ‘Ttakbam Dance’ was revealed, people started following it right away. It was like a dream moment when the wow point properly burst.”

Bada stated, “I tried to capture Taeyong’s coolness and attitude into ‘Wacka Wak’ as much as possible,” and Baek Gu-young shared the points he worried about during the directing process, saying, “I like Taeyong’s gaze, and I approached sensitively to see from which movement that friend’s energy could be drawn out.”

The stories of the choreographers who worked together on Bailey’s new song ‘CAN’T KILL ME’ continued. Jung Min-jun and Casper, who showed unexpected father-son chemistry as ‘Ca-Min-jun’, shared the process of worrying about bringing out Bailey’s unique strengths.

Casper explained, “Rather than expressing ‘something like a snake’ too directly, we tried to melt it into the choreography with a powerful and seductive image,” and Jung Min-jun said, “We tried to maximize the strengths of Bailey, who is the ‘Queen of Isolation’. As it was my first time stepping into the K-POP field, I asked Casper hyung for a lot of advice.”

Simeez, whose name was listed on the director credits of Bailey’s new song performance along with Ingyu, also revealed the fierce working process. Recalling the collaboration at the time, Simeez reminisced, “We composed and worked together really densely. It’s a stage that wouldn’t have come out even if just one of us was missing.”

He then drew attention by explaining the intention contained in the ‘Hydra Queen’ concept, saying, “I think Bailey’s strength is ‘Bailey herself’. I thought the aura as an artist should be different.”

The end of the event was decorated with the ‘Royalty’ performance of the ‘Title Sequence Film Mission’. Enthusiastic cheers from fans poured out on the special stage presented together by the 7 choreographers, and the choreographers expressed their gratitude to the fans, saying, “Thank you always for supporting us, and we hope you will continue to enjoy ‘SWF’ to your heart’s content.”

In particular, a surprise celebration event for Jung Min-jun, who was celebrating his birthday on this day, warmed up the venue even more. In addition, Baek Gu-young mentioned episode 8 airing on the coming 6th (Tuesday) and hinted, “A really fun event is waiting. Many works that you can look forward to will come out,” raising expectations for the next broadcast.

The meeting with fans will also continue with a national tour. ‘SWF’ will hold ‘Street World Fighter : Director’s War [ON THE STAGE]’ and directly meet fans from all over the country.

A total of 10 choreographersβ€”Nine, Renan, Bada, Baek Gu-young, Babyzoo, Simeez, Ingyu, Jung Min-jun, Casper, and Hashβ€”will be heavily mobilized for this performance. Starting with Hojung Gymnasium of Korea University in Seoul on November 21st (Sat) and 22nd (Sun), they will hold a total of 10 performances in 5 cities nationwide, including Gwangju (Nov 28), Busan (Dec 5), Daejeon (Dec 13), and Daegu (Dec 19).
