Group TWS recently captured fans’ attention with a variety of colorful and unique content that showcases their distinct charms.
On November 5 and 6, TWS released their second single ‘TO US’ commemorative podcast titled ‘B-Side’ through their official YouTube channel. Consisting of a total of six episodes, the videos candidly capture the members’ honest thoughts and personal tastes.
Their passion for the stage also stood out. Dohoon shared, “I constantly compare myself to others and try to push past my limits,” while Kyungmin stated, “Lately, all my interests are focused on dancing, singing, and the perfection of our stage.” Youngjae also added, “I am steadily participating in writing lyrics for TWS music to find my own musical world.”
Conversations about the team’s direction continued as well. Shinyu expressed, “I want to be a team that delivers pleasant energy through music,” and Jihoon shared his aspirations, saying, “When I think of TWS, my heart beats so much that I want to jump out of the practice room even while sleeping. I hope we become a team whose future cannot be easily predicted.” They envisioned modifiers like “icons of the era,” “a team that awakens youth,” and “a strong team,” pledging endless growth.
Minor daily routines were also revealed. Hanjin picked “simplicity” as the style he pursues, while Jihoon expressed affection by mentioning that “dancing together” is even more fun than dancing alone. Youngjae showed off his sweet family love, sharing, “My father still kisses me.”
Promotions utilizing the theme of the new release also drew attention. Large outdoor advertisements filled with the names of 42 (their fandom) were displayed around Seongsu-dong and Hongdae in Seoul in alignment with the new track ‘Call My Name’, and college entrance exam cheering banners for junior test-takers were posted near the members’ alma maters.
Currently, TWS is sweeping charts with ‘TO US’. On the day of its release, it topped the Hanteo Chart daily chart and ranked second on Japan’s Oricon Daily Single Ranking. All tracks from the new release, including ‘Call My Name’, ‘WE UP’, and ‘heavy’, successfully entered major domestic charts, and the music video surpassed 10 million views in just three days of its release.
