Boy group VIBY has successfully wrapped up their first week of music broadcast debut activities, leaving a strong impression on K-Pop fans.

Comprising members Io, Renki, Akito, Ryoha, and Kotaro, VIBY appeared consecutively on KBS2’s ‘Music Bank’, MBC’s ‘Show! Music Core’, Arirang TV’s ‘Simply K-Pop’, SBS Life’s ‘The Show’, and MBC M & MBC every1’s ‘Show Champion’, performing the Korean versions of their singles ‘Gotcha’ and ‘HANAMARU’.

During each stage, VIBY radiated bright and cheerful energy with refreshing visuals and unique styling. They heightened the visual appeal by pulling off diverse outfits ranging from fresh school looks to free-spirited casual wear. Seamless formations, dynamic synchronized choreography, and lively facial expressions capturing the mood of the songs further enhanced the stage’s vibrancy.

Distinctive point choreography for each track also drew attention. In ‘Gotcha’, they showcased lovable charms by performing various heart gestures to the lyrics ‘Love’. Conversely, in ‘HANAMARU’, they delivered VIBY’s dazzling youth energy by translating the honest and encouraging message of the lyrics into bright and powerful performances.

Fan reactions to VIBY’s stages through music broadcasts have been explosive. Online communities featured favorable reviews such as, “They are handsome yet cute”, “You cannot take your eyes off the stage”, “Every day is happy thanks to them”, and “Once you see them, you keep looking them up”, proving their hot popularity.

VIBY is the first boy group of the rookie label Rii.MJ, led by general producer Kim Mi-jung, who has participated in discovering prominent Korean K-Pop artists. The five members, gathered from various parts of Japan, prepared for their debut by receiving vocal and dance training in Korea for about two years, officially debuting in Japan on June 24.

Notably, VIBY achieved remarkable success by entering the approximately 10,000-seat Tokyo Budokan to hold a showcase just 68 days after their debut, the shortest period ever for a Japanese artist. Building on the experience gained in Japan, anticipation is rising for the future activities of these members as they showcase their presence on Korean music broadcasts as well.
