JYP Entertainment’s boy band Xdinary Heroes has radiated the radiant energy of youth through their new music video teasers.
Ahead of the release of their new mini-album ‘IMPULSE’ and title track ‘Obsessed with Youth’ on the 12th, Xdinary Heroes sequentially unveiled music video teaser videos for the title track through their official SNS channels on October 10 and 11.
The first teaser released on the 10th visualized the band’s explosive energy through vines stretching into a restrained space. The narrative stands out as the members’ performance awakens people’s suppressed desires, leading to a free and enthusiastic festival. Following this, the second teaser opened on the 11th delivers a thrilling sensation featuring the members’ intense instrument playing and cool shouting, turning anywhere their feet touch into a stage.
The new song ‘Obsessed with Youth’ is a track that depicts the dazzling moments of youth with a dramatic band sound. Ahead of their comeback, the members defined the charm of youth, saying, "Youth has no age, and its appeal lies in being a moment anyone can hold within their hearts. We also think it holds limitless possibilities to do anything. Within the word youth, there seems to be romance, dreams, and the hope that you can become and do anything." They added their honest thoughts, "We want to say that youth is a thought that spreads in various directions rather than a fixed one. It’s like a game where you go this way and that, sometimes right and sometimes wrong, finding your own path in various ways."
The new album ‘IMPULSE’, which spotlights human instinctive emotions from various angles, includes a total of 7 tracks, including the title track ‘Give Up The Ghost’, ‘Slashhh!’, ‘u and me in arguments’, ‘You Right There’, ‘Love in dystopia’, and ‘Breathe in, Breathe out’. A large number of tracks featured direct participation from the members in songwriting, weaving the group’s unique musical color even more deeply.
Xdinary Heroes’ new mini-album ‘IMPULSE’ will be officially released on major music sites at 6 PM on the 12th. Riding the momentum of their comeback, they will hold a solo concert titled ‘Xdinary Heroes Concert ‘IMPULSE” at the Incheon Inspire Arena from November 13 to 15, passionately communicating with global fans.
