On the 18th, XLOV (Umuti, Roy, Hyun, Haru) released the fourth concept photo for their third mini-album ‘i=!’ through their official SNS channels, further fueling excitement for their return.
In the published photos, the members perfectly pulled off free-spirited bohemian looks reminiscent of forest spirits. By adding a vintage casual sensibility to maximize the mystical atmosphere, they proved their limitless concept execution skills and heightened anticipation for the new release.
The upcoming album ‘i=!’ marks their return approximately five months after the release of their second mini-album ‘I,God’ last May. Building upon the previous album’s motif of a chess pawn’s promotionβdelivering the message that even the weakest being can be reborn as desired upon reaching the finish lineβXLOV expands their worldview by raising deep questions about lives shaped by choices and the possibilities of unchosen paths.
Comprising a total of eight tracks, including the double title tracks ‘Hush’ and ‘Tooth Gem Chihuahua’, the new album spans a wide range of genres such as hyperpop, electronic dance, and jazz-based R&B. Notably, members Umuti and Hyun participated directly in songwriting, infusing the album with XLOV’s unique musical identity.
