NEXZ — K-pop Group Kicks Off First Asia Tour in Seoul with Explosive Performances

Group NEXZ heated up Seoul with overwhelming performances and unwavering energy, grandly opening the curtain on their very first Asia tour.

NEXZ held their first Asia tour ‘NEXZ 1ST ASIA TOUR “SAUCIN’ THE WORLD”’ on the afternoon of the 18th at the Olympic Hall in Songpa-gu, Seoul, meeting with their domestic fans.

This tour marks NEXZ’s first-ever Asia tour since their official debut in May 2024, coming two years and five months later. Held over two days from the 17th to the 18th as a departure point in Seoul, this concert served as their second solo concert in Korea following their special concert ‘NEXZ SPECIAL CONCERT “ONE BEAT”’ last October, raising intense expectations from global fans even before it began.

Opening powerfully with the song “Mmchk,” NEXZ drove the momentum forward without a break through high-difficulty performances of tracks like “NALLINA” and “O-RLY?”. In particular, during the “One Bite” performance, they flawlessly executed fatal choreography utilizing black straps, sniping at the fans’ hearts.

With sweat beading on their foreheads and microphones in hand, the members shared heartwarming remarks, saying, “We missed you all so much. Thank you so much for coming out despite the bad weather and heavy rain. Thank you to the many fans who filled the venue yesterday and today, and since yesterday’s show was so much fun, I’m even more excited for today’s stage. Please enjoy yourselves to the fullest.”

NEXZ continued to express their sincere gratitude, stating, “Above all, this concert has a special reason. Starting in Seoul, we are officially kicking off our first Asia tour, and all of this is thanks to our fans.” Explaining the concert title “SAUCIN’ THE WORLD,” they showed confidence by adding, “Expanding on the meaning of our recent title track ‘SAUCIN”, we packed this with our ambition to captivate the entire world with NEXZ’s unique colors and music.”

During the concert, NEXZ brought the atmosphere to its peak by showcasing a variety of newly arranged songs specially prepared for the concert alongside solo performances that highlighted the individuality and charm of all seven members. The seven unique solo stages, where each member poured out their skills without reservation, clearly proved why NEXZ is called a “performance powerhouse.”

Stepping up as the first runner, Yuu caught the eye instantly with his sensible and fluent contemporary-style performance, while Seita showed off sharp and synchronized charms in the intro of “Want More? One More!”. Hui left a deep impression with chewy and intense rapping during the intro of “Hands up, Yo!”, and Sogeon took charge of the bridge part of “Co-Star,” boasting his signature refreshing and rhythmic mood.

Next, Yuki dominated the stage with strong energy and powerful dancing in “Next Zeneration,” while Haru elicited cheers with heavy and intense movements in the intro of “Legacy.” Finally, Tomoya grandly decorated the grand finale of the solo stages by delivering a breathtaking and dazzling dance break during the “Beat-Boxer” performance.

Additionally, the members garnered enthusiastic responses by premiering their performances of “Hellmate,” the title track of their third Japanese EP album released last June, and the b-side track “Hands up, Yo!” for their domestic audience. They also showed their deep love for fans by going straight up to the 2nd-floor audience seating during “Ride the Vibe” and “Starlight” performances to breathe closer with the fans.

Having successfully wrapped up their promotions for the 4th mini album ‘SAUCIN”, NEXZ toured four regions in Latin America last September by taking the stages of large music festivals ‘STRAYCITY’ and ‘Rock in Rio’. Having built solid experience through practical performances in front of numerous global audiences, they overwhelmed the audience at this Seoul concert with upgraded performance capabilities and relaxed stage manners.
