Group ZEROBASEONE‘s unit EMP is teaming up with Dynamic Duo for an exciting new collaboration.
On the 28th, ZEROBASEONE’s official social media channels revealed the tracklist for EMP’s (Seok Matthew, Park Gun-wook) upcoming digital single ‘OFF script’.
The first unit from ZEROBASEONE, EMP, plans to deliver free-spirited and hip sensibilities through music that breaks past ordinary boundaries, crafted directly by the members themselves. By making bold attempts outside of standard frameworks, they aim to build a differentiated identity unique to EMP, separate from their group activities.
According to the released tracklist image, the upcoming album features a total of three tracks, including the title song ‘RUN (with Dynamic Duo)’, ‘AFTERTASTE (with JUNNY)’, and ‘MADE YOU LOOK’.
‘OFF script’ is an album that captures the musical individuality and creative energy of Seok Matthew and Park Gun-wook without a script, translating them without reservation. Both members directly participated in the songwriting and composing of the tracks, imprinting EMP’s distinct color and infusing the entire album with the message of stepping outside established boundaries to trust and advance as themselves.
Notably, Dynamic Duo’s Gaeko and Choiza joined forces with EMP to write and compose the title track ‘RUN’. Produced by Padi, ‘RUN’ is a conceptual track built on hip-hop and drum-and-bass foundations, featuring an intense exchange of rapping between Dynamic Duo and EMP.
Furthermore, ‘AFTERTASTE’ is a hip-hop track combining grime and Latin sounds over an impressive guitar riff and groovy beat, with artist JUNNY lending his vocals. ‘MADE YOU LOOK’ is an R&B hip-hop track harmonizing a dreamy mood with an addictive melody, showcasing EMP’s bold confidence that listeners will inevitably find themselves drawn to them.
Meanwhile, EMP’s digital single ‘OFF script’ will be released on various online music sites at 6 PM on November 10. Ahead of the release, a special space has also been prepared for fans. EMP will hold a listening session titled ‘SOUND SEMINAR’ at CJ Azit Gwangheungchang in Mapo-gu, Seoul, at 8 PM on November 3, sharing stories behind the new music with their official fandom, ROSÉ, in advance.
