Introduction to Korean Medical Cosmetics in the US
Korean medical cosmetics are making waves globally as innovative derma-grade skincare brands expand their reach. Founded in South Korea in 2020, medical cosmetics manufacturer Trinitas is setting its sights on the US market, bringing dermatologist-level skincare straight to consumers. Speaking at a recent Las Vegas trade fair, Trinitas Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Jaemin Jung shared the brand’s ambitious vision for global expansion.
Derma-Grade Innovation and High-End Products
Developed by medical professionals who wanted to provide patients with effective at-home skincare solutions, Trinitas has quickly gained traction. Their flagship productsβincluding Nature Glory Cream, Revital Cream, and Intensive Moisturizing Lotionβare especially popular among older demographics in South Korea. Priced at around $42 USD for a 50ml moisturizing cream, these premium items feature high concentrations of EGF (Epidermal Growth Factor) and advanced active ingredients to deliver exceptional results.
Building an Independent US Distribution Network
As Trinitas takes its first steps into international exhibitions, the brand is learning valuable lessons about global trade. While major online platforms like Amazon offer initial visibility, the company ultimately aims to establish an independent US master distribution system. By seeking autonomy from high platform commissions and revenue-sharing structures, Trinitas hopes to pave a sustainable path for many South Korean beauty manufacturers entering the American market.
