Ahead of the year-end season, major coffee chains Starbucks and Dunkin have rolled out their limited-edition holiday menus.
According to ABC News, both companies began offering Christmas-themed new products and fan-favorite returning items starting last week.
Starbucks introduced two tiramisu-inspired beverages on the 5th. The Tiramisu Velvet Latte features mascarpone cold foam and cocoa powder, while the Tiramisu Velvet Cold Brew incorporates vanilla syrup and mascarpone cold foam.
Alongside these, the chain newly launched the Apple Pomegranate Refresher with pomegranate-flavored pearls, and the Snowy Apple Drink utilizing coconut milk or lemonade.
Meal and dessert options have also been expanded. The Bearista Cake Pop, a vanilla cake shaped like a bear, and the Braised Short Rib Grilled Cheese sandwich have been newly added.
Additionally, the popular bear-shaped Bearista cold cup from last year will go back on sale at select stores starting December 1st.
Dunkin has also brought back popular menu items such as coffee, lattes, hot chocolate, and matcha drinks utilizing cookie butter. It is also offering Toasted White Chocolate Latte, Almond White Chocolate Shaking Espresso, and Raspberry White Chocolate Matcha.
Dunkin has introduced changes not only to its menu but also to its packaging design. The ‘Donutcracker’ design, which reinterprets the Christmas nutcracker decoration into a donut shape, has been applied to cups, donut boxes, and Munchkins packaging boxes to emphasize the year-end atmosphere.
