TWICE member Dahyun is set to establish herself as a new TWICE Dahyun first-love icon through her upcoming starring role in the film ‘Cloud, Cloud’.
The movie ‘Cloud, Cloud’ (directed by Choi Sun-min / written by Hyun-ji Shin / provided by Takeone Company / produced by Takeone Studio, SLL) is a first-love growth story about ‘Gureum’, a cheerful girl who uses a wheelchair, and ‘Junsan’, a swimming prospect harboring hidden scars, as they become special to each other. This high-teen romance depicts two completely different youths meeting and expanding each other’s worlds with a touch of youthful excitement.
Dahyun takes on the role of ‘Gureum’, an art high school student who proudly sports a flashy pink wheelchair. Despite her lower body paralysis, ‘Gureum’ is brighter and has higher self-esteem than anyone else. She starts her first love after becoming the volunteer mentor to ‘Junsan’, who was chased away from training at the swimming pool with the goal of sketching abdominal muscles. Dahyun is expected to delicately portray the story embedded within ‘Gureum’ and capture the growth of youth. Actor Cha Woo-min has been cast as ‘Junsan’, raising expectations for a fresh chemistry with Dahyun. The film will be co-directed by Choi Sun-min, who previously co-directed the JTBC dramas ‘King the Land’, ‘Miss Night and Day’, and ‘Waiting for Gyeongdo’.
Previously, Dahyun began her full-fledged acting career in 2025 with the film ‘You Are the Apple of My Eye’, followed by the movie ‘Sprint’ and the JTBC drama ‘Love Me’ which concluded this January, proving her potential across the silver and small screens. Backed by exceptional character interpretation and stable acting skills, she has been building a solid filmography and won the Rising Star Award for ‘Love Me’ at the June 2026 Global OTT Awards.
Meanwhile, the film ‘Cloud, Cloud’ starring Dahyun is currently in production with the goal of a 2027 release.
