Broadcasters BTS and Hong Yoon-hwa recently opened up about their past experiences working with the global K-pop group during their variety show days.
On November 4, a video titled "’I’m not a figurehead’ Hong Yoon-hwa’s secret to running an oden bar from the bottom up revealed" was uploaded to the YouTube channel ‘A-Class Jang Young-ran’.
During the episode, Jang Young-ran and Hong Yoon-hwa shared that they became close while filming the past SBS variety show ‘Star King’. The two recalled enduring tough times together, staying up until dawn, chatting endlessly, and encouraging each other with warm praises.
Jang Young-ran joked about losing track of time in the early hours of the morning, while Hong Yoon-hwa expressed how much strength she drew from watching her senior colleague.
Afterward, Jang Young-ran asked Hong Yoon-hwa if she remembered the times when BTS frequently appeared on the show, recalling that the members often sat between them.
Hong Yoon-hwa reminisced, saying, "Since everyone was exhausted, they would hand us throat drops and say, ‘Noona, would you like one?’" Jang Young-ran added, "The members were always sharing their food with us."
Jang Young-ran praised the group, saying, "It was so exhausting, but seeing the members smiling next to us gave us energy. They were so refreshing." Hong Yoon-hwa agreed, recalling how bright and hardworking the members always were, creating a heartwarming atmosphere.
