Group ILLIT is releasing the remix version of their 5th mini-album ‘BREAK EVEN’ title track ‘Arrested’.
ILLIT released the ‘Arrested (Remixes)’ audio on the 6th at 2 PM. This album consists of a total of 7 tracks, including the original song, 4 different themed remixes, and sped-up and slowed-reverb versions.
Each track boasts a distinct musical color. It includes a kids remix that reinterprets the original song in a nursery rhyme style to maximize ILLIT’s liveliness, and a whistle remix that adds energy by putting the symbol of ‘Arrested’, the whistle sound, at the forefront. In addition, a club remix capturing the heat on stage with heavy bass and beats, and a hyper remix showing an experimental attempt with noise electronic sound and rhythm variations raise the fun of listening.
In particular, the ‘sped-up version’, which speeds up the original song by 1.3 times, enhances the cute charm as the tempo speeds up, and is rapidly spreading as the background music for the dance challenge where you make a gun shape centered on global short-form platforms.
The solid popularity of the original song ‘Arrested’ is proven by various charts. This song entered Spotify’s ‘Daily Top Song Global’ and Apple Music’s ‘Today’s Top 100: Global’ charts for 9 consecutive days. The music video also showed off its strong ripple effect by ranking in the top 20 countries/regions of YouTube’s ‘Daily Popular Music Video’ (as of November 3) and 21st on the official music video global chart.
Meanwhile, ILLIT will release the merchandise version ‘Little Mimi’ of their 5th mini-album ‘BREAK EVEN’ on the 30th of next month. It is planned in the form of a doll keyring that reinterprets Korea’s steady-seller character ‘Little Mimi’ as the new album concept ‘Black Agent’, receiving high interest from fans.
