AKMU Lee Su-hyun and her brother Lee Chan-hyuk are preparing to move out of their detached home in Pyeongchang-dong.
On October 23, a video titled ‘Conversation with Crush’ was uploaded to Lee Su-hyun’s official YouTube channel. In the video, Lee invited singer Crush to her home for a chat.
Crush, who visited the AKMU residence accompanied by his dog Doyou, expressed his admiration, saying, “It’s really nice. My mind feels wide open. It’s so quiet. I can only hear dogs barking.”
In response, Lee Su-hyun expressed her regret, saying, “But this house doesn’t have much time left either.” When Crush asked, “Is it a jeonse (lump-sum deposit) lease?” Lee replied, “It’s monthly rent.”
Crush reacted with surprise, saying, “It must be very expensive!” Lee Su-hyun laughed and replied, “Naturally.” She then explained, “Still, I think it’s the cheapest in Pyeongchang-dong. This house is the smallest among the detached houses in Pyeongchang-dong.” A subtitle on the screen added the detail that they managed to negotiate an even lower rate through a traditional monthly lease system.
Afterwards, Crush asked, “Do you live on the first floor and your brother is upstairs?” Lee Su-hyun shared, “We both live on the third floor. I rarely come out of my room.”
Meanwhile, AKMU officially debuted in 2014 with their first studio album and has received immense love, with every new release topping the music charts. In April of this year, they released their 4th album ‘Blooming’, featuring the title track ‘Love, Pain, Beautiful Heart’, presenting a total of 11 tracks. This album was also entirely composed and written by Lee Chan-hyuk.
