The ATEEZ Jongho has been officially announced as an MC for the upcoming ‘D Awards 2027 in Paris’, adding excitement to the event’s 5th star-studded lineup reveal.
Set to take place on January 15 and 16, 2027, at the Plenitude Arena (formerly La Defense Arena) in Paris, France, the ‘D Awards 2027 in Paris’ organizers finalized the inclusion of ATEEZ’s Jongho, WayV’s Ten and Xiaojun, and xikers for the 5th lineup.
The highlight of this 5th lineup announcement is Jongho taking on his very first awards ceremony hosting role since his debut. Known for his powerful vocals as the group’s main vocalist, Jongho will take the stage as a host (MC) and solo performer on the first day, January 15, 2027. He is reportedly preparing a special performance exclusively for the ‘D Awards’.
WayV, previously announced in the 4th lineup, will now travel to Paris as a complete 5-member group with the addition of member Ten. This marks their long-awaited full-group performance since the release of their 8th mini-album ‘Vision Wings’ in August. In addition, spectacular solo stages by Ten and Xiaojun are prepared. Ten, who released his single ‘OUTWEST’ in September, and Xiaojun, who proved his deep musical capabilities with the October mini-album ‘Hey, Somebody’, are expected to captivate fans with their all-rounder performances.
The deployment of the 5th-generation K-pop representative performers xikers is also generating high expectations. Having made a high-speed comeback with their 8th mini-album ‘ROUTE ZERO: The CALLING’, xikers is set to heat up the local arena in Paris, building on their record of entering the US Billboard main chart ‘Billboard 200’ just 12 days after their debut.
Marking its 3rd edition as the first K-content awards ceremony held in Europe, the ‘D Awards’ is co-hosted by Sports Donga and WSM, co-organized by WSM and Story Peak Global, and broadcast domestically via Channel A.
Previously, the event announced a lineup featuring host Jihyo (TWICE), Tomorrow X Together, Yeonjun, DPR Ian, P1Harmony, Choi Ye-na, KISS OF LIFE, AMPERS&ONE, Rescene, Kickflip, Kiki, IDID, Alphadrive One, Long Shot, Nother, Evan, and ATOS Light.
