Actor Choo Young-woo is completing a romantic narrative simply through the power of his gaze.

Choo has made a flawless transformation into an engineering campus heartthrob. With dandy styling that sets the standard for boyfriend-material looks and a gaze full of depth, his presence as a romance lead shines both on and off the camera.

The actor’s agency recently revealed behind-the-scenes cuts from the set of the ENA Monday-Tuesday drama Love Doctor, written by Min Hyo-jung and directed by Ahn Pan-seok, through their official channels.

In the released photos, Choo is seen wearing a knit vest layered over a shirt to complete a dandy look, looking entirely immersed in his character. Playing Park Min-jae, a robotics doctoral candidate, he portrayed deep emotional immersion through his profound gaze.

Notably, Choo delivered the congratulatory song ‘Love’s Pledge’ at the wedding of Park Min-jae’s close friend Cha Seo-hyun (played by Han Do-i), conveying his sincere feelings for Im Yu-jin (played by Kim So-hyun). It was a scene that left a lingering sense of emotional resonance, which was vividly captured in the behind-the-scenes photos.

Choo is receiving a warm response for delicately and realistically portraying a character who was once solely focused on robot research as he gradually learns about love through Love Doctor. His multi-layered emotional lines and meticulous facial expressions have richly completed the character.
