Singer DAWN has returned with a new album capturing his deep concerns about the speed of life and offering warm comfort to listeners.

DAWN recently released his new EP ‘green house’. Through his social media accounts, he shared the news of his comeback along with honest emotions he experienced during the production process.

Opening up about his journey, DAWN wrote, “I went on a trip. Why can’t I endure and run forward like everyone else?” He continued, “Even while I stood still, the world kept flowing relentlessly, and I felt like I was falling behind,” confessing his struggles with living at a different pace from others.

Seeking answers, he turned to nature. He leaned against an old chestnut tree in Gwangneung Forest, met monk Jongwa in the Torreya forest, and sought shelter from the rain in Namhansanseong Fortress. DAWN shared, “It’s hard to say I realized something profound there, but as I stayed close to things that have held their ground for a long time, I realized that I wasn’t running away, but rather temporarily turning back.”

In particular, he reflected on the meaning of a ‘home’ to which one can always return. DAWN explained, “There has always been a home by our side. A home that existed even before I was born, and that quietly makes space for me no matter what I look like when I return.” He added, “Perhaps we don’t always need to move forward just to live. Sometimes, stopping, leaning on something, and sheltering from the rain are all part of life,” sharing the comfort he discovered. He concluded, “This album is a record of the home we met along the way,” revealing the deeper meaning behind his new EP.

The mood of the album was vividly conveyed through the released photos. In the images, DAWN stands on a quiet, tree-lined path with headphones around his neck, gazing into the camera. His calm expression and natural styling immediately draw attention.

Known for his strong individuality and striking performances in music, DAWN is now presenting a much more intimate emotional side, telling a story of pausing, resting, and finding a place to return to.
