Girls’ Generation member and actress Girls Generation 20th Anniversary plans were recently hinted at by Yuri, who opened up about the explosive public response to her project unit ‘Hyorisu.’
On the October 30th episode of the YouTube channel TEO’s content show ‘John Park’s Bab Sama,’ Yuri appeared as the very first guest. Host John Park brought up Hyorisu, saying, “I watched your music broadcast stage. It looked really cool.” In response, Yuri shared her honest feelings, stating, “The reaction is so fascinating. It’s still amazing and surprising that so many people are showing this much interest.”>
Yuri also revealed behind-the-scenes stories from their music show appearances. She explained, “Usually, they have ending fairy moments. Nowadays, they even have individual cams for each member. I didn’t actively promote during the individual cam era, but they even have ‘bias fancams.’ Anyway, since we didn’t really know how ending fairies worked, we didn’t plan or coordinate anything among ourselves beforehand.”>
She continued, “When we went up on stage, people usually act pretty for the ending fairy. But we literally pushed each other. Did Sooyoung push someone? We were fighting over spots. Later on, junior artists saw that and told Sooyoung that they were so envious of senior artists who could be that free and natural on stage.”>
Most importantly, as Girls’ Generation approaches their monumental 20th anniversary next year, Yuri generated immense excitement among fans by hinting, “Since it’s been a really long time since we stood on stage together, I think there’s a strong possibility we will have a chance to perform for the 20th anniversary next year.”>
