Actor Lee Seo-jin recently captured attention by openly praising the timeless beauty of his former co-star, Ha Ji-won.
During the broadcast of the SBS variety show ‘Whatever You Want – Secretary Jin’, actress Ha Ji-won appeared as the ‘my star’ guest, creating a much-anticipated on-screen reunion.
Gathered at Incheon International Airport, the cast members quickly sought out Ha Ji-won. Lee Seo-jin expressed his excitement, noting that it was his first time working on a program with her since their hit drama ‘Damo’, and remarked, ‘This is our first time appearing on screen together.’
In particular, Lee Seo-jin drew attention by commenting, ‘Ji-won is prettier now than she was in the past. She has gotten so much prettier recently. It’s not the face she had back then.’
When Kim Kwang-gyu jokingly asked, ‘Are you saying she was ugly back then?’, Lee Seo-jin emphasized, ‘Back then she was just so-so. She is much prettier now.’
Upon Ha Ji-won’s arrival, Lee Seo-jin immediately showered her with compliments, saying, ‘Ji-won is way prettier these days compared to the past.’ When Ha Ji-won felt shy and asked, ‘Why are you like this?’, Lee Seo-jin playfully joked, ‘You weren’t this pretty back then.’
He continued, ‘I think she’s at her peak right now. I was so surprised when I saw her at the hair salon. She must have gotten younger after going to university lately.’
Meanwhile, Lee Seo-jin and Ha Ji-won previously starred together in the 2003 MBC drama ‘Damo’, creating a massive cultural phenomenon and generating the very first term for K-drama superfans, ‘Damo-pein.’
