According to the global music streaming platform Spotify on the 30th, the track ‘Midnight Fiction’ from ILLIT’s 1st mini-album ‘SUPER REAL ME’ recorded a cumulative 100,034,271 streams as of the 28th. This marks ILLIT’s 9th overall track to surpass 100 million streams.
Previously on the 25th, another B-side track ‘Lucky Girl Syndrome’ from the same mini-album surpassed 200 million cumulative streams, earning its spot as their 5th track to hit the 200 million milestone on Spotify. ‘Midnight Fiction’ is a modern pop song that rhythmically expresses a sleepless dawn, captivating listeners with imaginative lyrics such as “As if my body became a bird” and “Taking a walk with clouds that look like our puppy.” Meanwhile, ‘Lucky Girl Syndrome,’ which served as a follow-up track, garnered attention for ILLIT’s unique positive energy and confident performances singing “I’m Lucky” through the small joys of everyday life.
