[OSEN=Jang Woo-young] The first casting lineup for the KBS Drama Special 2026 KBS Drama Special 2026 ‘Sound: Track’ has been unveiled, featuring actors Woo Da-bi, Kang Ae-sim, Kim Hyun-jin, Pyo Ye-jin, and Lee Ki-taek.
Premiering on November 18, the KBS Drama Special 2026 ‘Sound: Track’ carries on the 42-year tradition of KBS’s single-episode dramas.
The first piece, ‘Sound: Track – Spring Scent than You’ (written by Lee Saha, directed by Kim Young-jun), follows the journey of a singer-songwriter who falls into stage fright after the death of her pet cat, visiting a miscellaneous store to hear her cat’s final message. Woo Da-bi, Kang Ae-sim, and Kim Hyun-jin come together to deliver warm comfort and emotion as they portray the process of overcoming the pain of loss and finding hope once again.
The second piece, ‘Sound: Track – After the Play Ends’ (written by Sung Woo-jin, directed by Kim Han-seul), is a childhood-summoning romance about a current affairs PD assigned to a children’s program on the verge of cancellation, who unintentionally gets entangled in the staff’s lives and grows into a ‘good adult.’ Pyo Ye-jin and Lee Ki-taek meet as a PD and a writer with contrasting personalities, driving a delightful relationship dynamic.
Much attention is focused on the KBS Drama Special 2026 ‘Sound: Track,’ which will consist of a total of eight independent stories capturing moments of love, parting, and growth, starting from ‘that song’ that everyone has encountered at least once in their lives.
