Four low-income and senior apartment complexes in the LA Koreatown area are currently accepting housing applications. According to the West Hollywood Community Housing Corporation (WHCHC), the eligible properties are Elden Elms, Mariposa Lily, Vermont Manzanita, and Westmore Linden.
Elden Elms (1255 Elden Ave.) is a 93-unit property featuring 1- to 3-bedroom floor plans. Among these, 15 units are specially designated for formerly homeless residents. New applicants will be placed on a waiting list, with move-in opportunities given to existing applicants first.
Mariposa Lily (1047-1055 S. Mariposa Ave.) consists of 40 units, of which 20 are permanent supportive housing units for formerly homeless individuals. Please note that there is no parking available for residents.
Vermont Manzanita, located near the intersection of Pico Boulevard and Vermont Avenue, offers 39 units (1- to 3-bedroom options). Of these, 15 units are allocated to families connected to the child welfare system who have children aged 5 or younger and are experiencing homelessness or housing instability.
Westmore Linden (1250 S. Westmoreland Ave.) is a 93-unit apartment complex dedicated to low-income seniors aged 62 and older. Among them, 15 units are permanent supportive housing designated for seniors with a history of homelessness who require additional support services.
Residents wishing to apply must first verify their eligibility requirements, including household income and family size. The application process also requires documents proving income and assets, such as pay stubs and bank statements.
Applications can be submitted directly through the WHCHC website at whchc.org/find-housing. However, submitting an application does not guarantee immediate placement. Applicants must pass a qualification review, and actual move-in times may vary depending on the waiting list order.
