Group NCT member and singer Ten has directly addressed and cleared up dating rumors that surfaced online, while his agency has also taken strong measures.
On the 29th, his agency illimnt released a statement via their official channels, saying, “Recently, groundless rumors and malicious posts concerning our artist have been spreading across various social media platforms.”
The agency added, “We are continuously monitoring multiple platforms and actively collecting data regarding these malicious posts. If false rumors and personal attacks continue, we plan to take strong legal action to protect the rights and reputation of our artist.”
The groundless rumors mentioned by the agency are presumed to be the dating rumors recently sparked online. In response, Ten personally spoke up about the issue during his concert.
Currently performing in Seattle, USA, Ten drew a firm line, stating, “I know weird stories have been spreading on the internet lately. I wanted to make it clear in front of you all today. I am completely single. I am not dating anyone right now.”
Ten also mentioned that he was informed about the dating rumors by a staff member, adding, “If I were dating someone, I’d have to be Superman. You all know how busy I am right now.”>
Meanwhile, Ten concluded his exclusive contract with SM Entertainment last April and began his journey as a solo artist. In July, he established the creative company illimnt and has been continuing his individual activities.
