Actors Park Eun-bin of “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” and Kim Min-ha of “Pachinko” will attend the upcoming 28th Critics Choice Awards on Jan. 15 in Los Angeles, according to their agencies on Tuesday.
The ENA series “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” (2022) and Apple TV+ series “Pachinko” (2022) are both nominated in the Best Foreign Language Series category.
Park portrayed the titular character Woo Young-woo, a lovable genius attorney on the autism spectrum. Kim played the role of Sun-ja, a Korean woman in the early 20th century who emigrates to Japan and leads a tumultuous life.
Last year, the Netflix Korea series “Squid Game” (2021) won Best Foreign Language Series and its lead actor Lee Jung-jae won Best Actor in a Drama Series.
Director Park Chan-woo’s film “Decision to Leave” is nominated in the category of Best Foreign Film.
