T1 opened their 2026 LoL Worlds Swiss stage journey with a swift and decisive victory, defeating LOS in just 24 minutes thanks to an overwhelming gap in upper lane prowess. Top laner Choi ‘Doran’ Hyun-jun, jungler Moon ‘Ouner’ Hyun-jun, and mid laner Lee ‘Faker’ Sang-hyeok all maintained flawless no-death streaks to display dominant force throughout the match.

The opening round match of the 2026 League of Legends World Championship Swiss stage took place at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen, Texas. T1 snowballed aggressively from the early game utilizing superior lane dominance, ultimately securing a 19-3 landslide victory in 24 minutes and 26 seconds.

LOS secured the blue side and drafted Syndra, Pantheon, K’Sante, Tristana, and Rakan, while T1 responded on the red side by picking Lee Sin, Jin, Jayce, Alistar, and LeBlanc. The game immediately flowed in T1’s favor as top laner Doran maximized Jayce’s long range to build a minion cs lead, eventually scoring a solo kill at the 6-minute mark for first blood. Jungler Ouner then claimed the first dragon to seize control of the tempo. Although LOS invested members into the bottom lane for a turret dive, T1 stood firm and weathered the crisis.

T1’s snowballing accelerated rapidly around the 10-minute mark when Ouner eliminated opposing support Ackerman in the lower river to secure an extra kill. By the 11-minute mark, the global gold gap widened to 2,000, and Ouner followed up by intervening in the top lane to take down the enemy top laner once again, effectively sealing momentum.

Fueled by their dominant upper side, T1 unleashed relentless pressure. After securing an additional kill in the top lane, four T1 members converged to demolish the top tier 1 turret and widen the gap further. Although LOS attempted to chase hopes of a comeback by stealing the Rift Herald, Ouner immediately neutralized them with a counter-kill. Combined with sharp roaming from mid laner Faker’s LeBlanc and support Ryu ‘Keria’ Min-seok, T1 completely seized control across the entire map. In particular, the upper trio of Doran (4/0/9), Ouner (8/0/6), and Faker (6/0/7) commanded the game without conceding a single death.

Cementing their victory, T1 cleanly repelled a desperate LOS offensive targeting Kim ‘Peyz’ Su-hwan during an 18-minute skirmish, taking down three enemies. This engagement pushed the global gold lead past 5,000. After capturing the third dragon and shutting down LOS’s Herald attempt, T1 stretched the kill score to 16-2 and built an 8,000 gold lead.

The closing moments were equally flawless. Securing the Baron Nashor at 22 minutes, T1 leveraged the Baron buff into a 24-minute push to extend their score to 19-3, directly destroying the enemy nexus to conclude the match.
