Anticipation is reaching an ambitious peak as Disney+ unveils the captivating character posters and romance chemistry video for its upcoming original series, The Remarried Empress. Starring Shin Min-a, Joo Ji-hoon, Lee Se-young, and Lee Jong-suk, the series brings together four distinct characters wrapped in a web of complex romance and royal intrigue.

A Royal Fantasy Epic of Divorce and Re-marriage

Based on the massively popular web novel and webtoon, The Remarried Empress follows Navier (Shin Min-a), the flawless empress of the Eastern Empire. When her husband, Emperor Sovieshu (Joo Ji-hoon), demands a divorce after becoming infatuated with a runaway slave named Rashta (Lee Se-young), Navier shocks the court by accepting the divorce under one condition: she demands approval for her remarriage to Heinrey (Lee Jong-suk), the prince of the Western Kingdom.

Stunning Character Posters and Chemistry Preview

The newly released classical portrait-style posters highlight the unique aura of each lead. Navier shines with composed dignity and alluring strength against a crimson and beige backdrop, while Sovieshu exudes a cold, solid imperial presence in deep blues and greens. Prince Heinrey captivates with a mysterious and sophisticated emerald visual, and Rashta glows with bright pinks and floral decorations that emphasize her lively charm.

Alongside the posters, a romance chemistry video previews the shifting dynamics within the imperial court. Starting with the once-perfect romance of Navier and Sovieshu, the teaser hints at a deepening crack in their relationship as Sovieshu sways toward Rashta. Meanwhile, Prince Heinrey approaches Navier with unwavering confidence, setting the stage for a dramatic tale of heartbreak and calculated vengeance.

The Remarried Empress is set to premiere on Disney+ with its first four episodes on Wednesday, November 4, followed by two episodes released weekly for a total of 10 episodes. Ahead of its release, the lead cast and director Jo Soo-won will hold their first official production presentation at a Seoul hotel.
