Group XLOV member Hyun, who was unable to attend the comeback showcase due to a leg injury, expressed his determination to recover and return to the stage.
XLOV held a showcase to celebrate the release of their 3rd mini-album ‘i=!’ at the Cube Convention Center in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, at 2 p.m. on the 28th.
During the event, Umuti introduced the new album ‘i=!’, stating, "This is our third mini-album. We wanted to explore the pressure, fear, and various emotions that come before making a choice."
Louie and Haru added, "There are many tracks besides the double title tracks, and we hope you will listen to them often. We prepared very fun and fresh performances for these new songs, so please show your interest."
Unfortunately, member Hyun was unable to attend this comeback showcase due to a leg injury. Hyun shared his thoughts through a statement, saying, "I am deeply disappointed that I couldn’t stand on stage with the members today due to an unexpected injury. I am doing my best to recover through intensive treatment so I can return to the stage in good health as soon as possible. While it is unfortunate that I couldn’t be there, I hope this album leaves a great impression."
Previously, XLOV’s agency announced via official channels on the 27th, "Hyun sustained a leg injury during practice and will not be able to attend the mini-album ‘i=!’ showcase scheduled for October 28. Following medical advice that he needs sufficient rest and stability, the showcase will proceed with a 3-member lineup excluding Hyun."
They added, "Participation in future schedules such as music broadcasts and fan signing events will be carefully decided by comprehensively considering Hyun’s recovery progress, and we will announce further details regarding his activities later. We ask for the understanding of EVOL fans who have been waiting for this comeback regarding this sudden news. The agency will do its utmost to support Hyun’s recovery so he can meet fans in good health."
XLOV’s 3rd mini-album ‘i=!’ was released at 6 p.m. on the same day.
